Grand Slam. [LINK] Anyway, many people are complainging about me not updating. DD: During the march holidays, I went to watch L: Change the world with my JC neighbour. It wasn't bad, although the plot line is dubious. DD: <SPOILER ALERT> I was cringing every single time the bright pink vehicle appeared. I bet my neighbour get pissed with my wincing. I really likes Kenichi's acting here. L's attempts to straighten his back was particularly amusing. ^^ I still don't like his dying though. And oh yes, I died when he named the little boy Near. Just a statement, I don't like Near or Mellow. I think DN's story died once L died. ;__; Oh well.. Last Tuesday, I went to Plaza Sing with Huifen, Charlene, Su Yun and Min Yan for lunch at Cafe Cartel. Ex, I know. But food was really good. They kept taking the free-flow of bread and ended up really full by the time they finished the main course. We got the set meal, which included soup, free flow of bread, main course and dessert. They, being boring people, took the Spaghetti. I was unique and got the chicken. xDDD Which tasted real good, by the way. We all loved the soup. ^-^ And I'm in love with subway cookies. On Saturday after PSL session, yeng went with me to Subway at Far East to get their all so delightful cookies. We got drinks too, because we were melting. Yengs was going on and on about wanting the essence of hengyeng, after she melted, to be put into a milo packet. Because she loved milo. Anyway, when we went to the mrt stations, not about to drink our drinks in the station and on the MRT, this guy chased us down the staircase to tell us to throw it away. He was pointing and stuff and gesturing so much that I had no idea what he was trying to say. I took my half a minute to realise he wanted one of us to throw go out throw our drinks away. He kept harping on $500. Sheesh. And well, I'm dying now because I have no idea if the instructions I came up with for my game makes sense to innocent victims from other classes. X.X Bleah. Die. I don't know exactly what I did but now there's a blister on the side of the scab/scar thiny. DD: About the campfire skit my group had to do, the plot was something like this..: In the ACSB canteen, a stall auntie is talking to her fire. Auntie: Fire fire, you're my fire. Must guai guai okay? Cook my lobster nice nice. People in queue: Lobster! My one desire! Si Ying: -eats lobster- This SOCKS! (sucks) Me (Unhealthy person): What would you like to have for recess? HJ (Healthy person): Can I share a lobster with you? Me: I want it deep-fried! HJ: No! That's very unhealthy! Let's have steamed lobster instead! Me: I DON'T BELIEVE YOU! You bring this down, then you bring this up, then you bring this down again. Then you get 69, i mean 39.l Me: TEACHER! Can eat? Mr Hotbod: Unless it's pi (pie) Me: No pie! Lobster! We'll share it with you. Mr Hotbod: -thinks, looks over glasses- Okay -removes glasses, flicks hair- because its worth it. But how are you going to eat it? HJ: With socks! Me: How do you eat with socks? HJ: To sock up all the oil! Me: She sock already. Anyway, I shall be normal and use a fork! -attempts to jab TRICIA with fork- Why her shell so hard? I can't get to her heart! Mr Hotbod: (something around the lines of this) I changed my mind! -takes lobster and pretends to rip shell off(?) TRICIA ended up wearing orange plastic bags to look more like a lobster. xDD and we won the best performance prize! x)) Anyway, after that was supper, and we shared toberone and oreo with another patrol. I didn't eat much though.. Toberone is good. ^^ And then came BATH TIME. Wu Wei and I ran to the toilet, but we weren't the first there anymore.. DD: We had to wait quite some time.. Lydia arrived when I was waiting. She was still there when I came out and we lied to this Sec 2 (?) that we were sisters. xDD She still owes me the story of a random bath time. Anyway, we trudged back to the gallery and i went to the hall with Amelia, because Laura left during campfire. And Amelia realised that she didn't so the postcard thing for be prepared, so she was doing it and I was decorating this random makeshift postcard whilst lying on her sleepingbag. And my sister started throwing this shuttlecock at me, and i thought it was lydia.. Then they suddenly shouted 'GUIDES FALL IN' and i was cursing and swearing as i stumbled to get my slippers and fall in. After singing taps, I took the shuttlecock, and much to lydia's displeasure, threw it back at her. And we started whacking each other before i ran away. And it was back to decorating the postcard. I asked Amelia what her favourite shape and she took a hard one, which was an OCTOGON. I was wondering how you actually draw one.. so i drew four lines and started joining them rather confusedly. When I took my glasses off and put it on the chair, Lydia came over and asked me how to get rid of my sister because she was disturbing her patrol. xDD I was even colder the next morning. And well, today, I was really slow and I packed everything once I went up... Changed and stuff, then headed to sit at the canteen. Then we had fall in and games.. we played twin towers this time. When it came to breakfast time, we were all so happy that the CLs were shocked to see us all chionging towards the canteen. x)) You can tell how hungry we were. Anyway, we got our normal plate of spread, as since Sanu (?) and Ling Min were gone, there were less people there to eat. And we had to finish the entire loaf. Yin Leng pronounced that she shall try to beat her record of 9 slices at Orientation. She started making 'Loser bread', which was bread in the shape of an 'L' and the plate was littered with the crust and all the leftovers from the loser bread. She was trying to tempt us to eat the loser bread too. She mixed everything and it all looked so gross. Euch. >.< The rest of the day was spent cleaning up. S1s ended up cleaning the stupid gross toilets. DD: Then S1s and S4s had this random song singing thing while S2s and S3s had to clean the canteen and guides room. xDDD Anyway, I have to go now.. Philo work you know.. X.x Labels: cyla822 Monday, March 10, 2008, Monday, March 10, 2008 GUIDES CAMP. IM BACK! ;'DD HELLO PEOPLE. I'M BACK FROM GUIDES CAMP AND PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I'M BACK IN ONE PIECE WITH NO INJURIES 'CEPT THAT I HIT MY KNEE SO IT HURTS A LITTLE AND I HAD TO SHOWER IN D BLOCK LEFT SIDE TOILET AGAIN (the one I used in orientation camp) AND ENDED UP WASHING THAT TOILET AND DID A LOT OF RETARDED STUFF. xDD I think CAPS are cool. And so is BLACK. But that's besides the point. (By the way, Black and PURPUR is cool. ) BACK TO CAMP. On Friday, I was desperately packing my bag at 9.30. It was start. Not finishing. And considering how fast I am, I ended up sleep at 11 plus. Needless to say, i was dead at camp the next day. We had to put our bags in the gallery. It was really messy. And then was falling in and raising of colour on the field. Flies were being annoying and unhelpful. DD: After that, we had patrol corner. We got our patrol emblems from TRICIA <33> Anyway, we had to play this game called Sardines. We had to find our CLs, and in my patrol's case, ELYSSA YAP. We just walked over the place, and since we couldn't find her, we just returned to the foyer 5 minutes early. ;DD We had elevenses after that, which was really dry biscuits and plain water. ;__; Really dry. We had deal or no deal after that, which was alot of station games. I can only remember a few though. One of them is this tic tac toe thing, that you can only put down one X or O if you answer one of the questions correctly. And then there was the typical crossing the river thing, and the rubber band passing. The most amusing part was at the First-aid part. To get extra points, we got YIN LENG to chicken dance around the string used for rock climbing. x)) Really amusing. And we had to do cheers at all the station. Our LAME-O cheer went something like: S-U-N-F-L-O-W-E-R SUNFLOWER, SUNFLOWER, SUNFLOWER(Get higher and higher) YEAH! I was really embarrassed whenever they did this cheer. We had lunch after that, which was spaghetti. We sat in a meal ring, which is all the guides in a circle on the canteen floor. I finished mine just after WU WEI and the other passed me another box and made me finish it up. Yargh. We had pioneering after that. Sec 1s were supposed to learn knots and lashings. We learnt stuff like reef knots, overhand and double overhand, round turn and two half hitches, sheet bend, clove hitch, pole hitch, square lashing and diagonal lashing. Not bad eh? ;DD We kept the stuff up and then started practising AA dance. ^.^ After that was my favourite part. OUTDOOR COOKING!!!!! =DD We got to the left plot of land and well, spread out food on the ground next to it. All the others helped with the cooking and some of us just.. prepared the noodles, sausages, crabmeat, vegetables, potato, and all the random stuff. With much thanks to LING MIN and WU WEI, I made at least 5 trips (to and fro) to the water cooler which was at the other side of the grass patch. DD: I think our food was really decent! And even though the noodles that was cooked in the mess tin was overcooked, it's still edible.. ;DD And the chocolate with marshmallows were good too! heh! I stole ice-cream from my sister too! It was half gone, but still edible. =)) We had games after that, even though most of us were dead already. I remember all the stations here. The first one was where my sister was one of the game mistresses. We were given pairs and I got JOCELINE. We had to find out partner after being seperated and blindfolded. I found my Jocie quite quickly, but the APPLE WAS BLOODY ROTTEN. I was so pissed. Lathiga complaining about my complaining, but that was before she realised the apple was actually rotten. DD: After that, we went to the canteen and had tug of war with the sec 2s. We lost, sadly. Then we went outside the guides room, where we has to go through this spiderweb like thingy.. Lydia and another S4 was pulling me around blind folded. And Lydia was not being helpful. She was laughing at me when I asked her who it was trying to be deep. The last one was running up and down the amphi steps picking up rubbish and stuffed toys to throw into these two boxes. After that, we had BATH TIME! <33> Then we had CAMPFIRE PREP. My group, 1st COY SUNFLOWER and 2nd COY MORNING GLORY were grouped together. Which meant HAN JUN and I were in the same group. We had to include a particular scene, character, prop and song lyrics. Ours was math class, a lobster, a pair of clean socks and Backstreet Boys' I want it that way. We only had time to come up with the plot, no script, and who to play what characters. HJ and I became the healthy and unhealthy person respectively. Then was bedtime. we were sleeping in batches and well, MAYO, HJ, LAURA, AMELIA, CHUN HUI, and MELISSA were sleeping in a row. And MAYO and LAURA kept talking, and I was really tired.. Anyway, next day when we woke up, I was freezing. Literally a block of ice. Stumbled up, changed and stuff, and went for raising of colours again. And then we had morning exercise, some random game that included running around the Netball courts. Then we had breakfast, where YIN LENG and TRICIA were mixing the jams, peanut butter and nutella together. Then we had footdrill and be prepared. S1s had to make a toy with stuff people contributed.. we made this lame skipping rope thingy with a watch for timer and stuff.. Then we had CAMPFIRE PREP. We sorta arranged the skit and SIYING came up with a lot rubbish like 'this socks (sucks)' and 'i cut you with my cutlery!' I'll talk more about the skit in the next post. anyway, we had patrol lunch at far east, subway and then walked to lido so tricia could buy starbucks. we then had another game and then more campfire prep and a game again. Then came dinner, where my patrol did orderlies and then CAMPFIRE! <33 Anyway, I need to go now, and I'll post more about the stuff tomorrow~ <33 IM GLAD TO BE BACK! Labels: hebeecons Friday, March 07, 2008, Friday, March 07, 2008 Ahahaha. H-O-L-I-D-A-Y. I figured Masataka was decent. A really decent dancer. And well, I suppose the icon is fine even though I haven't been able to watch Beauty Boys celebrity beyond the first two episodes. I don't appreciate watching RAWs you see. DD: Anyway, I've been rather busy for the past few days. At least, I've had guides and SAs and my uncle's wedding and Guides Camp tomorrow. Oh man. I haven't picked punk. Nor have I bought the raisins I need to bring for them to make their fruit salad. Anyway, on wed, we had our Physics Practical. That one was crap man. I minused a few marks already. YARGH. ;__; During the test, Ling Ying was like doing it really quickly and I was about to freak out. :O and Hui Fen was doing really slowly. So i was wondering if I was doing too slowly or too quickly. After that we went for guides, and because of starting real late and all, we didn't have patrol corner. )): So sad. We went to one of the classrooms and started singing random songs. And oh! GUIDES CAMP WAS BACK. Oh man. They were playing with my poor feelings! ;__; I was oh so happy and Laura and I were celebrating the wonderful disappearance of the camp, and they just had to decide "life must go on". Oh man. I'm tired and achy and now I have to go for guides camp. For two nights to boot. I want to fall sick or something. Anyway, I left Guides halfway dancing so I could attend my uncle's wedding. I had to go and inform Tricia (my PL) that I was leaving early and when I asked her if she knew where my sister was, she was like "... ... dunno." It turned out she was at some random spot in the middle of the canteen floor doing god knows what. And she couldn't find her wallet when she went to the Guides Table. And she was digging and digging and I was digging and digging for her and Lydia, her friend, was terribly amused and was digging for her too. xDD Anyway, she ending up running up to her classroom (Lv 4, mind you) and I had to wait for her whilst chatting with Lydia. When we finally left school, we had trouble hailing the accursed taxi. Most of the taxis were hired. And this taxi decided Tanah Merah is too far. Hmph. And we finally got onto a taxi. It was so comfortable that i just fell asleep. ;DD It's real comfy. Really! Anyway, my dad came home when i was showering and when i came out, he was showering and well, I left for Marina Mandarin without my sister. She wanted to do her homework and well, decided to go with my mum. Anyway, we reached.. rather early, and we were rather lost when we reached. it turned out that they were in this room doing god knows what. Anyway, they came out and well, I said hi to my uncle and soon to be aunt. She went up to change first and my uncle mingled around before he asked me if I wanted to see the bridal suite. I was like O.o. And well, I said no. I'm rather impressed by the wedding photos... They make my uncle look smaller sized. Anyway, we proceeded into the ballroom blah blah.. And for the first course, guess what they did! The waiters, holding plates with lobsters and stuff, starting dancing to this tango-ish song. I was terribly amused. :DD The food was good. ^^ and when my uncle and aunt when around taking photos with the guest (you know what I'm talking about) and ended up getting squished in front of my uncle and well, lots of other relatives squeezed into the photo. xDD And when it came to the yam-seng part thingy.. The 'guy's' side of the family did it really long and freaky. ;DD My 4th Granduncle kept urging us to make it louder and stuff. Later, my dad and uncles and granduncles made this random concotion with wine and made my uncle drink it down. My other uncle, (Dad's brother) told me about the horrible one he had to drink at his wedding. Apparently, it started only after my dad's wedding. :DD Anyway, I was rather dead by the time desserts came, and when it was time to leave, I was half stumbling to the entrance. And well, when we were leaving, there's this part, where we have to shake hands with the bride and groom and their family? I hugged my uncle and realised how big he actually is. he's so tall and big and broad and all.. xDD Anyway, on thursday, I was really tired and all.. I slept almost immediately on the bus and was dead when I arrived at class. and I was literally asleep for most of the day. I had SL briefing after school and we were rather lost. And well, lots of talking, badge receiving, more talking, batch games, green book receiving, and batch talk. Oh well.. I met Hsin Pei on the way to the bus stop and she went to Plaza Sing with me to buy my Cherry Tomatoes. I got Taco Pachi on the way and she got fries from mcdonalds. And today...we had history. I think my essay was crap. Probably get L4/4 or something sad like that. DD: And during history, I got really high with Cherie and Ling Ying and Vivian and Pamela. I swear that Vivian's a horrible influence on me. Anyway, it went something like this: Me: Oh oh oh! Like the Mocca advertisement thing! -imitates bodybuilding guy- Check out my matching pipes!
